Goscheneralp. Canton Uri, Switzerland

One large (6x3x3 cm) smoky crystal, with an interesting internal fracture that creates distinct, bright "rainbows," flanked by 2 smaller (2 cm) crystals. Extremely clear, medium-dark Swiss smoky quartz. There is a miniscule ding at the very point of the main crystal.

Quartz
sqz04vp - 12x7x3 cm
Piz Blas, Valnalps, Tavetsch, Canton Graubunden, Switzerland
$250
SOLD

A large, 12 cm long, very lustrous and very clear light smoky quartz crystal on quartz matrix. This specimen has "the color," that I consider the quintessential, classic Swiss smoky grey-brown color. A very nice cabinet specimen that looks much better than the photo can show.

Quartz crystals on matrix
sqz05vp - 12x8x6 cm
Fedenstock, Val Val, Tavetsch, Canton Graubunden, Switzerland
$250

A cluster of large smoky crystals on a matrix of granite and tiny quartz crystals. The main crystal is 8x4 cm and shows some interesting growth patterns. It has a cleave at its base on the back side, and a minor ding on its face. This specimen is a little lighter in color than the photos indicate. Very nice!
